Friends of the Night People Signup Form

Our church has served monthly dinners at Friends of the Night People Drop In Center since 1990. We do this every third Friday of the month. Being a part of this service is rewarding and enlightening. It can be a teaching and learning project for the whole family - shopping, cooking and serving together. A typical evening goes like this. We arrive at Nativity at 3:30 p.m., load cars with food and carpool to Friends of the Night People. All involved at the center unload cars. Salads are mixed, desserts put on plates, food and beverages served cafeteria style and there is cleanup afterwards. All tasks are usually completed by 7:15-7:30 p. m.
People participate in any or all of three ways:
(1) Come to the event and help serve;.
(2) Prepare and deliver food items for the evening serving (see signup form). Food item(s) may be dropped off at the church prior to 3:30 p.m. (Here is the current main dish recipe.)
(3) Make a monetary donation to help cover the cost of this ministry.
