Service May 21, 2023 “Absent-Minded Faith.”

There’s a paradox at the heart of the Easter story: that it’s the absence of Jesus’ body that convinces the disciples that Christ has risen from death. That doesn’t work in a court of law; in a court case, we need solid evidence. But so much of our faith is built on evidence yet unseen. On this Sunday we’ll read the Apostle’s rumination on this in 1 Peter 1:3-9, and explore the reassurance of “Absent-Minded Faith.”
